To mark the centenary since the end of the First World War, the school decided to create a display similar to the capital's a few years ago.

The project involved pupils, parents and staff across the school including deputy head Sara Petipher who wanted the display to specifically interact the children.

She said: '˜The children each made a poppy out of clay and then painted them. These will be displayed in our wildlife area.
