REVEALED: One in three primary school leavers in Portsmouth are overweight
The new data reveals 35.1% of children in Year 6 are considered to be an unhealthy weight, above the national average of 34.2%.

Hide AdThe findings were released today by the National Child Measurement Programme, in partnership with NHS Digital.
Nearly in four (23.5%) children in reception classes in Portsmouth were also found to be overweight or obese.
Nationally the percentage of overweight and obese 10 to 11 year olds is the highest on record.
