Car parks in Fareham town centre to reopen, with free parking for key workers
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
All Fareham Borough Council managed surface car parks without barriers in the town centre will be free to use for critical key workers, as identified by the government.
Fareham Borough Council leader Sean Woodward said: ‘Whilst many of our residents are doing their part to minimise the spread of Covid-19 by staying at home, NHS and key workers are on the frontline fighting it daily.

Key workers should display evidence of their key worker status clearly visible through their windscreen.
This evidence may include a letter from an employer confirming key worker status or a photocopy of a work pass with sensitive information removed.
If key workers do not have any evidence to place in their windscreen and receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN), they will need to contact the council by calling 01329 236100 or emailing [email protected] for the charge to be immediately revoked.
