Coronavirus: 6 new possible Covid-19 symptoms have been added by the CDC

However there could be six further signs that you have Covid-19, including a runny nose.

The Centre for Disease Control (CDC) in the United States have added a number of new symptoms to watch out for.

This includes:

- Chills

- Repeated shaking with chills

- Muscle pain

- Headache

- Sore throat

- New loss of taste or smell

The CDC say that these symptoms could show 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.

In the UK, the NHS says that if you have a high fever or a new continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual) – you should visit the online 111 coronavirus service.

If your symptoms are mild, you'll usually be advised to not leave your home for at least 7 days.

Anyone you live with should not leave your home for 14 days.

This is called self-isolation.
