Elson Library, in Chantry Road, Gosport, is hosting the talk by Raymond Hale.
Mr Hale is from Diabetes UK Fareham and Gosport Group and will talk about the illness and how to manage it.
The free event is this Friday between 10am and 11am. Tea and coffee is 20p.
