NHS Portsmouth CCG to appoint new chairman
NHS Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group will next week appoint a new chairman of its governing board.
The move follows Dr Tim Wilkinson’s decision to step down as chairman, and at a meeting in public next Wednesday, the governing board is asked to approve the appointment of Dr Elizabeth Fellows as the new chairman.
Dr Wilkinson said: ‘As a leader it’s judging the right time to step down especially having identified and encouraged the development of your successor.
‘Now is the right time for me.’
