Spinnaker is lit up green

THE Spinnaker Tower shone green for this year's Post-Polio Syndrome Day, helping to raise awareness of the condition.

The 170m tower was lit green – one of the charity’s colours – on October 20, to raise awareness of a condition which affects 120,000 people in the UK alone.

Ted Hill, CEO of The British Polio Fellowship, said: ‘We were delighted to have the Spinnaker Tower on board with our campaign again in 2016.

‘I’d like to thank everyone for their efforts in helping us raise awareness of PPS Day.’
