Take part in fundraising walk for QA Hospital

Portsmouth Hospitals Charity, which fundraises on behalf of the Cosham site, is calling on people to sign up for its annual Ward Walk.

Participants can pick either a 5km or 10km walk through Staunton Country Park in Havant to raise money for a department of their choice.

Fundraising manager Victoria Greenshields said: ‘The Ward Walk will be a fantastic opportunity for the community to rally together in support of their local hospital.

‘The event will be a fun-filled day with all funds raised being used to benefit current and future patients being treated within Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.’

The walk is on May 21 and starts at 10am.

It is £2 per person to register and the event will have a cake sale, refreshment stall, snack bar, picnic area and free parking. Staunton is also offering 50 per cent off its farm tickets.
