Going to the dogs - Portsmouth's greyhound track remembered | Nostalgia

The greyhound stadium at Tipner, Portsmouth, was built in 1930 east of Tipner Lane on the site of Stamshaw Chemical Works.

A new, larger track was opened on May 25, 1931, in Target Road.

The last meeting was on March 27, 2010, and the stadium was demolished in 2012.
