Centre serves up treats

TASTY treats and live music went down a hit at a shopping centre.

Shoppers flocked to Locks Heath Shopping Centre near Park Gate on Saturday to get their hands on scrumptious food as the centre embraced British Food Fortnight.

Fresh food shop Cook served out delicious deserts and mini-lunches and New Forest Chocolates offered up its collection of home-made chocolates.

There were stalls from Steve’s Leaves, Brewhouse & Kitchen and Lemon and Soul.

Lisa Foster, from Southampton, said: ‘It all tastes so good here. It was a nice little surprise as part of my shopping.’

Manager of Cook Tracey Fryer said: ‘We love getting the chance to do something like this as it’s all about letting people get a better idea of how more delicious fresh food is.’
