Here are a handful of the top events taking place across the Portsmouth area on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. 

GIG: Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets performs the early music of Pink Floyd, including songs from the album The Piper At The Gates of Dawn. Portsmouth Guildhall, Sunday, 7pm. 

MARKET: Enjoy a huge array of mouth-watering confectionery, mind-blowing cakes and much more from more than 30 trading stalls. Ferneham Hall, Fareham, Saturday, 11am-4pm. 

MUSIC: From live music to craft stalls, and a bouncy castle to face painting, ParkFest18 has something to occupy everyone. Leesland Park, Gosport, Saturday, 1.10pm. 

FESTIVAL: This family-friendly and relaxed festival has plenty of music acts in store, as well as a children’s fun fair and food court and much more. Ticket prices vary. Victoria Park, Portsmouth, Saturday, 12-11.30pm. 

TALK: This D-Day conference will explore the history of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. Listen and discuss the event with a number of speakers on one of the biggest battles in history. D-Day Museum, Portsmouth, Saturday, 9am-5pm. 

STAGE: Don’t miss the opening night of this multi-award winning comedy, where Fawlty Towers meet Noises Off. Everything that can go wrong… does! Kings Theatre, Southsea, Monday, 7.30pm.
