To mark Waverley’s return, on Fridays September 1st, 8th, and 15th, seniors can bring a friend along for half fare. Sail from Southampton or Portsmouth for a delightful cruise to the charming Isle of Wight town of Yarmouth to spend time ashore. Passengers can alternatively stay aboard to experience the sheer magnificence of the Needles and Freshwater Bay on a cruise that promises to leave a lasting impression.

For those craving a great day out, the "Steam Round the Isle of Wight" experience awaits on Saturdays September 2nd, 9th, 16th, and Tuesday September 19th. Departing from Southampton and Portsmouth, revel at the awe-inspiring coastline as Waverley circumnavigates the spectacular Isle of Wight.

Sunday September 3rd brings a special highlight as Waverley takes to the waters on a cruise to view Bournemouth Air Festival. Departing from Southampton, Yarmouth or Swanage, passengers will enjoy an unparalleled vantage point to witness the spectacular aerial displays, including the Red Arrows, which have made the festival a renowned event.

Step aboard for a celebration of maritime heritage and engineering excellence that promises an unforgettable experience on Monday September 4th. Waverley will join Steamship Shieldhall for a special “Steam Together” cruise off the Needles Rocks. Both ships are powered by triple expansion steam engines and their meeting will inevitably involving much use of steam whistles! Waverley will sail from Southampton to Poole with an inclusive coach connection return.

Returning to Ryde on Saturday September 16th for the first time since 2014, Waverley's presence will be a celebration of the ship’s enduring popularity. Sail from Southampton or Portsmouth for the ultimate steam day out, by combining a sailing onboard Waverley with a visit to the award-winning Isle of Wight Steam Railway.

Passengers seeking unique and intriguing experiences can also choose from a variety of captivating cruises, including sailings to No Man's Land, the chance to explore Swanage Railway from Southampton and Portsmouth, and an opportunity to marvel at the wonders of the Jurassic Coast and Lulworth Cove.

Once aboard you must visit the Engine Room and savour the sight, sound and armour of a real steamship – hear the telegraph ring and watch the engine start to move. You can even see the paddles turning through the portholes!
