Workers from TSB presented a cheque of £400 to The Rowans Hospice, which provides specialist care to patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Customer assistant Anne Squire said: ‘TSB and The Rowans are working together this year to raise funds to help customers who are in a less fortunate place than ourselves and need assistance at such a sad time.’

Anne was one of the many people from four different branches - Fareham, Portsmouth, Petersfield and Hayling Island - who took part in the fundraising.

The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Frank Jonas, also attended the donation as he is a keen supporter of The Rowans, which has helped more than 7,000 patients across Hampshire since it started in 1994.
