Broadcast group in Stubbington gets £500 donation
A GROUP that records news for blind people to listen to has been given £500.
Fareport Talking News, based in Stubbington, was given the money by the Fareham Meon Rotary Club from its Christmas sleigh event.
Group chairman Carl Cater said: ‘We’re delighted and extremely grateful to both the Rotary club and to Sharon Noble, Community Life Champion at Asda Fareham, who kindly suggested us as a recipient.
‘This donation will go towards our current project to “sound deaden” the studio.’
