21-year-old is cut after answering the door to man in Southsea

A RESIDENT who opened his door to a couple of men in Southsea suffered a cut after an argument – and the front door was also damaged with a weapon.

It happened in Londesborough Road on Saturday, December 19.

A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘The incident occurred at around 9.40pm. The 21-year-old victim opens his front door to a male suspect.

‘A verbal altercation ensues and the suspect uses some kind of weapon to damage the front door before making off with another male.

A 42-year-old man from Southsea has been arrested in connection with the incident.
