CCTV released after 'wrong woman' abused in Portsmouth shop

Police in Portsmouth said the 19-year-old Peacocks staff member suffered 'persistent aggression' from a woman, aged between 30 and 35.

It happened on Wednesday just before midday in the shop in Cosham High Street.

The suspect is white and around 5ft 10ins tall.

PC David Ronchetti from Cosham Police Station said: 'The persistent aggression shown was very distressing for the victim, who was able to remain calm and professional throughout.

'This appears to be a case of mistaken identity.

'This occurred in the middle of the day in a busy high street. I appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or can help identify the woman pictured, to contact me.'
