n James Steeves, 40, of Curzon Howe Road, Portsea, admitted criminal damage to walls at a property in Portsmouth on September 27.

He also admitted harassment of a woman between September 20 and 27 by making persistent contact with her.

He received four weeks for the damage and 12 weeks for the harassment.

Both run concurrent and were suspended for 18 months. He must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £300 prosecution costs.

n Jamie Bicknell, 26, of Gregson Avenue, Gosport, admitted possession of a bladed article on October 25 in Fareham.

Magistrates imposed a six-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months.

He must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs. The knife must be forfeited and destroyed.

n Moemedi Magowe, 22, of Cumberland Road, Southsea, admitted possession of cannabis, a class B drug, on September 17 in Portsmouth.

He also admitted obstructing a police officer on the same day in the city.

Magistrates jailed him for three weeks for each offence, to run concurrently.

n Lee Fewings, 24, of Milton Road, Milton, admitted possession of herbal cannabis, a class B drug, on September 1.

Magistrates jailed him for seven days with a £115 victim surcharge to pay.

The drug was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.

n Leonard Fitch, 52, of Homebred Lane, London, was found guilty of assault by beating against a woman on February 27.

He was handed a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Fitch must pay £500 compensation to the victim and £500 costs.

n Lee Millership, 37, of Kingston Road, North End, admitted theft of items worth £121.94 from Mothercare in Portsmouth on September 11.

He also admitted theft of items worth £7 from Poundland in the same street and day. Millership received a 12-month conditional discharge with £20 victim surcharge to pay.

n Gary Hudd, 41, of Waverley Road, Southsea, admitted harassment of a woman between August 4 and September 29 in Southsea.

He banged on the woman’s door, rang her door bell and shouted abuse at her.

Hudd also admitted failing to comply with a dispersal order in Albert Road within an exclusion period on August 28. He was discharged conditionally for two years.
