n Steven Conlon, 29, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.

He committed the offence on May 31 in High Street, Cosham, and was given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Conlon also admitted failing to surrender to custody and was fined £250.

n Benjamin Silverston, 24, of High Lawn Way, Havant, was found guilty of assault by beating on March 18 in Havant.

He was fined £300 with a £30 victim surcharge and £620 prosecution costs.

Silverston also admitted criminal damage to an external door and electrical box door worth £213 on the same day.

He must pay £213 compensation.

n Daniel Clarke, 29, of Tarrant Gardens, Leigh Park, admitted entering a train without a valid ticket between Havant and Portsmouth & Southsea on January 12.

He was fined £30 and must pay £4.30 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

n Anthony Storey, 55, of Brasenose Close, Titchfield Common, admitted an assault by beating on March 31 in Whiteley.

He was fined £150 with a £20 victim surcharge and £150 prosecution costs to pay.

Storey also admitted an assault on the same day but received no separate penalty.

n Jake Clark Storey, 21, of South Street, Gosport, admitted stealing an iPad in Gosport on October 19 last year.

Clark was fined £160 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Magistrates ordered him to pay £175 prosecution costs.

n Darren Barter, 43, care of Highland Road, Southsea, admitted causing harassment, alarm or distress on June 8 in Portsmouth.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 20 days rehabilitation activities.

He must pay an £85 victim surcharge.

He also admitted the same offence but committed on June 1.

n Arthur Easen, 69, of Brickyard Road, Swanmore, admitted assault by beating between April 2 and 11 at his home.

He also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence or provoke violence on April 27 in Cosham.

He was sentenced to a community order with 20 days of rehabilitation activities.

A restraining order bans him from contacting the victim for a year.

He was fined £50 for the first offence and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £25 prosecution costs.

n Carlene George, 25, of Kingston Road, Portsmouth, admitted harassment of a woman between March 6 and March 13.

She sent her a series of threatening text messages.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 20 days of rehabilitation activities.

George was fined £25 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge plus £50 prosecution costs. She also admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.

She was fined £60 for the March 13 offence in Havant.

n Debbie Laverton, 19, of West Ashling Road, Chichester, admitted obstructing a highway in Havant.

She walked into the middle of a busy road causing a double-decker bus to swerve on June 30. She was fined £30 with a £30 victim surcharge and £40 prosecution costs to pay.
