He was caught driving a Nissan Micra in Beresford Road.

A test revealed he had 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mcg legal limit.

Magistrates fined him £120 with a 12-month driving ban.

Blake must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Godswill Bdebele, 33, of Kendal Avenue, Baffins, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.

He committed the offence on April 12 in Portsmouth and was fined £100 with a £20 victim surcharge.

n Rachel Tucker, 23, of Frensham Road, Southsea, admitted stealing items worth £152.99 from Matalan in Portsmouth on March 28.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge.

Tucker must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Stefan Falzon, 34, of Silchester Road, Portsmouth, admitted resisting a constable in the execution of his duty on February 27 in Highland Road, Southsea.

Falzon was fined £80 with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs to pay.

n Colin Wood, 19, of Westwood Road, Gosport, admitted three counts of assault by beating in April, January and March.

Magistrates imposed a four-month sentence of detention suspended for 12 months.

He must complete 12 months supervision, 25 days of rehabilitation activities and 120 hours of unpaid work.

A restraining order bans him from contacting a woman for a year.

Wood must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £450 prosecution costs.

n Patrick Clarke, 35, of Waverley Road, Southsea, admitted two counts of theft in Portsmouth and an assault by beating.

Magistrates jailed him for 68 days as he assaulted the shop detective and received a suspended sentence.

Clarke also admitted breaching a previous suspended sentence.

He must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

n Paul Heard, 28, of Leith Avenue, Porchester, admitted an assault by beating on a woman on March 26 in Havant.

Magistrates imposed a four-month prison term suspended for two years.

He must complete two years of supervision, a 32-day relationships course and 30 days of rehabilitation activities.

Heard must pay £200 prosecution costs.
