n Dean Lawrence, 52, of North End Grove, North End, Portsmouth, admitted failing to surrender to custody. He was fined £40 with a £20 victim surcharge and detained in court.

n Harry Gauntlett-Gilbert, 19, of Laburnum Grove, Copnor, was found guilty of an assault by beating.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge.

He must pay £100 compensation and £310 prosecution costs.

n Danielle Smedley, 34, of Great Copse Drive, Havant, admitted driving without third party insurance.

She was fined £120 with a £30 victim surcharge and given six points on her licence.

n Kaine Burns, 23, of Swarraton Road, West Leigh, admitted drink-driving.

Magistrates banned

A test showed he had 77 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than double the 35mcg legal limit.

He also admitted driving a Mini Cooper otherwise than in accordance with a licence and was fined £200 after admitting driving without third party insurance.

n Caroline Debname,34, of Forton Road, Gosport, admitted drink-driving and was banned for 20 months.

A test showed he had 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the limit.
