n Carl Shotton, 49, of Waverley Road, Southsea, was found guilty in his absence of driving without insurance in Outram Road on September 9 last year.

He was fined £120 and banned from driving for six months.

n Nicholas Walters, 40, of St Luke’s Road, Gosport, admitted stealing a coat worth £265 from Hugo Boss on February 25 last year.

Magistrates ordered a de-tagger to be forfeited and destroyed.

n Lee James, 33, of no fixed address, admitted stealing various tools and equipment in Netherton Road, Gosport, on October 6 last year.

He was handed a 20-week prison sentence because he has a record of persistent stealing and is serving a sentence.

n Paul Pottinger, 40, of Magennis Close, Gosport, admitted causing harassment, alarm or distress in Gosport on October 22 last year.

He was handed a community order with 40 hours unpaid work.

He must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £40 prosecution costs.

n Christopher Fagan, 36, of High Lawn Way, Leigh Park, admitted criminal damage.

He damaged a front door belonging to Havant Borough Council on January 23 in Prospect Lane.

He was fined £100 with a £20 victim surcharge and £50 prosecution costs.

Fagan was also fined £100 after admitting trespassing on the railway lines at Warblington train station.

He committed that offence on January 9.

n Stephanie Sopp, 27, of Kingston Road, Fratton, admitted stealing jewellery worth £5 from Boots in Portsmouth.

She was given a six-month conditional discharge with a £15 victim surcharge to pay.

Sopp must also pay £35 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
