n Kyle Cutler, 23, of Abbas Green, Leigh Park, admitted resisting a constable in the execution of his duty.

He must pay £50 compensation for the January 9 offence in Nashe Way, Fareham.

Cutler was fined £100 after admitting possession of cannabis, a class B drug, on the same day. He must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Graham Derrick, 47, of Bishopsfield Road, Fareham, admitted assault by beating.

He committed the offence on January 18 in Fareham.

Magistrates handed him a community order with a nine-month residential alcohol treatment requirement.

He must obey a 28-day curfew and complete 25 days of rehabilitation activities.

He must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Mark Fletcher, 54, of Feltons Place, Hilsea, Portsmouth, has been banned for three years after admitting drink-driving.

He was handed a 12-week prison term suspended for 12 months.

He was stopped in Military Road, Hilsea, on December 27 last year,

A test showed he had 152 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than four times the 35mg legal limit.

The court heard he is of previous good character.

Fletcher must complete 12 months supervision, a drink-impaired drivers programme and 20 days of rehabilitation activities.

He must complete 120 hours of unpaid work and must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Paul Harris, 37, of Regal Close, Cosham, admitted stealing coffee worth £47.60 from Co-op on February 10.

He also admitted stealing meat worth £90 from Tesco on December 31 last year. Harris further admitted stealing £70.50 worth of steak from Tesco on December 21 last year.

He was handed a 60-day prison sentence suspended for 12 months.

Harris must pay £160.50 in compensation.

n Jeremy Bailey, 49, of Park Parade, Havant, admitted assault by beating on January 26.

He was fined £750 for the offence in Havant, and must pay £100 compensation, a £75 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
