He was stopped in Titchfield Road, Stubbington, on October 16 last year.

He was riding a Yamaha motorbike.

A test showed Obeney had 136 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood, more than the 80mg limit.

Magistrates banned him from driving for a year.

He was fined £400 with a £40 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Elizabeth Kennedy, 56, of West Way, Titchfield, was found guilty in her absence of driving without a current MoT.

She committed the offence contrary to HM Naval Base Portsmouth byelaws 1981 in Circular Road, Portsmouth.

Kennedy was fined £20 for the January 7 offence.

She must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £60 prosecution costs.

n David Stewart, 47, of Avery Lane, Gosport, admitted assault by beating.

Stewart committed the offence on September 25 last year in Gosport.

He was given a community order with 80 hours unpaid work.

Stewart must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Matthew Chambers, 21, of Bishops Gate, Fareham, admitted drink-driving.

He was stopped in Fareham Road, Gosport, on January 1 driving a Vauxhall Astra.

A test showed he had 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than double the 35mg legal limit.

Chambers was fined £150 and banned from driving for 20 months. He must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

He also admitted driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence but received no separate penalty.

n Ashley Martin, 34, of no fixed address, admitted using racially-aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

He was fined £75 and ordered to pay £20.

He committed the offence on January 8 in Portsmouth.

Martin was ordered to be detained in court but that was deemed served for time spent in custody.

He also admitted failing to surrender to custody on January 26 and was fined £50.

n Mitchell Bull, 21, of Norrington Grove, Birmingham, admitted assaulting a woman by beating in Waterlooville.

He was given a community order for the October 27 offence.

He must complete 20 days of rehabilitation activities and 40 hours of unpaid work.

Bull must pay £100 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £40 prosecution costs.
