CRIME fears were aired by residents at an open day with police.

A meeting was held by Havant’s neighbourhood policing team yesterday.

It was an opportunity for people to raise their concerns with the force – as well as meeting their local officers.

The event, held at Havant College, in New Road, is part of an ongoing public relations campaign by Hampshire Constabulary to boost the presence of front-line policing teams.

Monthly meetings have been taking place since January and have proven a hit with the local community.

The next chance to meet the team will be on April 10, at Havant College, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Other dates include: May 8, June 5 and July 3 at the same time and place.
