Gosport drink-driver banned after being more than double limit

A DRINK-DRIVER has been banned from the roads for 17 months.

Donald Warren, of Austberry Way, Gosport, admitted drink-driving at more than double the legal limit in South Street, Gosport, on October 29.

A breath test showed the 60-year-old had 77 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. This was more than double the legal limit of 35mg.

Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court fined him £60 with a £20 victim surcharge to pay.

His plea was taken into account.
