Hampshire's Youth Commission set to focus on mental health

A GROUP set up to give young people a voice in policing has announced its priorities.

The Youth Commission was set up by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner in Hampshire.

This year its four priorities are mental health, cyber safety, relationships with authorities and substance misuse.

Marcia Tanyaniwa, 19, from Portsmouth, is working on mental health.

She said: ‘We want to get rid of the stigma, mainly in boys, and encourage everyone affected to come forward and seek help.’
