Have you seen this man? Police are looking for him in connection with an attempted burglary

Hampshire Police has released an e-fit image of a man officers would like to speak to about an attempted burglary in Southsea.

A 43-year-old woman in Playfair Road was woken at 2.40am on September 18 when she saw a man trying to open a downstairs window.

He fled the house and escaped over a fence towards a nearby churchyard.

Nothing was taken.

The man is described as white, 5ft 8-10ins tall, of slim build, with short dark straight hair and a long thin face and nose. He was wearing a turquoise round neck t-shirt with either black or white writing on the chest.
