Huge building site theft in Chichester

POLICE are looking for witnesses after more than £40,000-worth of plant machinery and tools were stolen from a building site.

The intruders broke into several portable buildings on the site at the Chichester Food Park, Bognor Road, just off the A259 between 5.45pm on Wednesday, April 27 and 6am the following morning.

Items stolen included a Wacker plate, Paramac 5500 petrol generator, Leica P200 pipe laser set and a Stihl Ts10 disc cutter.

Sussex Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the theft or anyone with information – particularly if they have been offered any tools or machinery for sale.
