‘Fortunately, none of these women were physically harmed in any way, but they were understandably shocked by what happened to them.’
The first incident was reported to officers on April 17, when a woman spotted a male in Lowcay Road who appeared to be ‘inappropriately touching himself’ between 11pm and midnight.
Days later, on April 20, a 24-year-old woman reported a male who indecently exposed himself at Southsea Castle, at about 9.10am.

On April 28 a 16-year-old girl reported that a man, matching the same description as the previous incidents, drove up beside her near Southsea Common at around 8.30am and tried to talk to her.
Two further incidents were reported this month, in Osborn Road on May 6, where a 21-year-old woman reported a man with his hands down his trousers and on May 11, when a 28-year-old woman reported seeing a man touching himself inappropriately close to Southsea Castle.
A spokeswoman for Hampshire police said the force ‘believed’ all the incidents were ‘linked’.
