Judge Evans told jurors: 'We're concerned about your safety. We're concerned that you feel safe in the court building so if there's anything at any stage that is causing you any concern bring it to my attention.'

The judge added: 'I can assure you that this building is clean. It's probably cleaner than it's ever been before.'

Prosecutor Andrew Houston is due to open the case tomorrow.

Mark Oliver denies murder.
