Man appears in court over Clanfield Co-op armed robbery

A MAN has appeared in court after an armed robbery.

Anthony Journet, 46, of Botley Drive, Havant, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with robbery and having an imitation firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on July 4.

It comes after an armed robbery at Co-Op store on the corner of White Dirt Lane and Drift Road in Clanfield on Thursday, May 12.

At the time Hampshire police said no-one was hurt.
