Man asks female jogger to perform sex act on him near Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth

AN e-fit image has been released to help identify a man after a woman was approached while out jogging and asked to perform sexual acts on him.

The incident took place on the Hilsea shoreline on Wednesday, January 20 at around 9am. The woman in her thirties was running along the footpath between the Hilsea Lido and the Mountbatten Centre when she was approached by the man who initially asked her for the time.

The man was white, in his mid-20s, and wearing a khaki and black puffa jacket, North Face style, with the hood up and dressed in dark clothing.

A statement from Hampshire police said: ‘We would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and may have seen or heard anything. We would also like to speak to the man pictured in the e-fit in connection with the incident.’

Anyone with information on the incident, who recognises the man in the e-fit, or has experienced similar incidents in the area is urged to call 101 and quote reference 44210022329.
