Man stabbed in neck after fight in Portsmouth street
A MAN was stabbed in the neck after a fight in PortsmouthÂ between two groups of people.
The 27-year-old, from the city, is in a serious condition at Southampton General Hospital.
Police are investigating the incident which happened between two groups around Newcome Road and Walmer Road, in Fratton, at 6.30pm yesterday.
A group of four men were approached by a second group of three to four people.Â AÂ fight then took place, resulting in the victimÂ getting stabbed.
Police said the second groupÂ then left the area in a silver Vauxhall Astra, possibly heading in the direction of Byerley Road.
Three other men in the group suffered minor injuries.
Three 18-year-old men, all from Portsmouth, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harmÂ with intent.Â They are currently in police custody.
