PCSO's warning after spate of break-ins in Fareham
POLICE have warned residents to keep Christmas gifts out of sight in their home after a series of break-ins in the Fareham area.
PCSO Bob Shailer, from Fareham District, said: ‘Unfortunately as Christmas is getting closer, the burglaries are on the up in Fareham and Portchester. Please can we remind residents to secure your home and do not leave gifts in full view in your homes. Also make sure that windows and patio doors are especially secure as this is the preferred manner of entry in the latest break ins.’
