Pipes stolen by van manÂ

LENGTHS of plastic piping have been snatched from a building site, sparking a police appeal for help.

Officers are hunting for theÂ crook who snatched the pipes from the Bellamy building site, in Whichers Gate Road, Rowlands Castle.

The incident was reported to have happened at about 2.20pm on Saturday afternoon.

PCSO Almera Toogood said: '˜AÂ person has been seen to climb over a wooden fence and then remove plastic pipes and place these onto a flat bed van and then drive off.

'˜Your neighbourhood police team are appealing for any information that could help us to identify this person or the flat bed van.'
