Police 'increasingly concerned' about missing woman last seen in Northern Parade in Portsmouth

POLICE have launched an appeal for information following the disappearance of a woman last seen in Hilsea.

Christine Thomas was last seen walking in the Northern Parade area of the city at around midday yesterday.

The 39-year-old is white, about 5ft 8in, and has long, dark hair.

A spokesman from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We, along with Christine’s family, are growing increasingly concerned for Christine’s safety and are now asking the general public to report any sightings to us.

‘She was last seen wearing straight cut black jeans, black Skechers trainers, a thin black showerproof jacket and it is likely that she also had a black over-the-shoulder bag with her which had a Mickey Mouse charm keyring and zip on the front.’
