Portsmouth jewellery raid: no arrests one week on

NO ARRESTS have been made a week after at least seven burglars hit a city jewellers.

High-value watches were stolen from Ernest Jones, in Cascades Shopping Centre, Portsmouth, at about 3.30am last Tuesday.

Fires had been set as a distraction before the gang broke in and then escaped via clothes shop Wallis.

Police confirmed no arrests have been made.
