Portsmouth Kayleigh Dunning murder trial: Accused killer found guilty of revenge porn charge as jury mulls final verdict

A MAN on trial accused of murdering his partner has been found guilty of a charge of revenge porn.

Jurors today convicted Mark Brandford, 49, of disclosing private sexual photographs of 32-year-old Kayleigh Dunning.

Prosecutors previously told Portsmouth Crown Court Brandford sent them to her friends and setting up a fake Facebook profile after her phone went missing in 2018.

The jury is continuing to consider its verdict in the murder charge.

Brandford is accused of killing Ms Dunning overnight on December 16-17 in 2019 at his flat in Kingston Crescent, North End, Portsmouth.

Brandford denies murder. He had denied the revenge porn charge.

Jurors took four hours and 14 minutes to return the guilty verdict for the revenge porn charge, and have been asked to continue deliberating.

After five and a half hours of deliberations, judge Timothy Mousley QC sent the jury home on Friday.

They will continue deliberating on Monday, he said.

Judge Mousley told jurors to ‘switch off if you can about thinking about this case’.
