Curtis Briggs, 22, of Tukes Avenue, Gosport, was found guilty of drink-driving in Tukes Avenue on September 22 last year.

A test showed he had 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Briggs was fined £450 with a £45 surcharge and £100 costs.

Magistrates banned him from driving for 14 months.

Katie Smith, 37, of St Jacques Way, Denmead, admitted assaulting an emergency worker - the on-call trust manager at Queen Alexandra Hospital - by beating on November 1 last year.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge with £50 compensation to pay.

Taylor West, 23, of Greetham Street, Southsea, admitted drink-driving in Twyford Avenue, Stamshaw, on April 5.

Magistrates fined him £120 with a 15-month ban.

He must pay a £32 victim surcharge.

Oliver Cooper, 25, of Fort Cumberland Road, Eastney, admitted damaging a wall on November 16 last year and having cocaine, a class A drug.

He admitted failing to turn up at court on December 3.

Magistrates fined him £200 with £50 compensation for the damage.

An order was made to destroy the cocaine.

Adam Buisson, 31, of Sunnyside Walk, Leigh Park, admitted harassment of a woman between January 15 and February 14.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month community order with 15 days' rehabilitation activities.

He must pay a £90 surcharge and £85 costs.

A restraining order was imposed banning him from contacting the victim for a year.

Grant Baxter, 38, of Bucksey Road, Gosport, admitted sending a malicious communication on July 12.

A restraining order bans him from contacting the victim for a year.

He must pay £100 costs and £95 surcharge.

He also admitted using violence to get into a premises, in Brewers Lane, Gosport.

Baxter further admitted stalking the victim between July 12 and August 30 this year.

He went to her home numerous times and made repeated phone calls to her.
