Portsmouth teen arrested after vehicle break-in

A TEENAGER from Portsmouth has been arrested after a car was broken into last night.

Hampshire Police has confirmed that a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft from motor vehicle and possession of a knife, following a vehicle break-in in Carmarthen Avenue, Drayton.

The incident took place at about 10.10pm on Sunday, November 4.

Police say that the man has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
