Robbers target man on a bike at Canoe Lake

ROBBERS targeted a man as he cycled past Canoe Lake in Southsea.

The 42-year-old was riding close to Greens Café, towards the Model Village, between 4.50pm and 5pm on November 18 when he saw a group of people.

Police say as he got closer, two men moved away from the group and one grabbed the handlebars causing him to fall off.

The pair threatened the victim and stole his Samsung Galaxy a5 phone, a Nationwide debit card and a black and green Barracuda racing bike with white writing.

One of the robbers was white, in his 40s and balding. He was wearing a woolly fleece top with a collar lighter than the rest of the top

The second attacker, also white, was younger and slimmer.
