Shoe thief told to pay up £70
A COCAINE addict who stole shoes has been told to pay £70.
Callum Brown, 23, took a pair of women’s Converse shoes from Royal Mail in Southampton Road, Portsmouth, on December 2.
His addiction fuelled the theft, the court said.
Portsmouth magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge with a £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs.
Brown, of Jubilee Avenue, Paulsgrove, pleaded guilty to theft.
