Teenagers arrested for having class A and B drugs and a weapon in Gosport and Fareham

The Hampshire Constabulary effort to tackle illegal use and supply took place in Gosport and Fareham.

A boy, 16, was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A and B drugs an offensive weapon after two teenagers were searched near Ferneham Hall, Fareham, on Saturday night.

He has been released from custody but remains under investigation while enquiries continue.

Another boy, 15, was arrested that morning on suspicion of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply.

He was also released and remains under investigation.

The police operation also resulted in the seizure of a small amount of cannabis after officers approached two men in a car near Portchester Castle.

A 27-year-old man from Gosport was given a community resolution and must attend a drugs course in connection with the incident.
