Thief, 23, jailed for string of offences and an assault

THIEF Megan Juryeff has been jailed for 30 days.

The 23-year-old, of Gosport Road, Fareham, admitted four counts of theft committed on April 27 and May 17.

She stole wine, other alcohol, shoes and a purse and costume jewellery.

She also admitted an assault by beating on April 27.

Fareham magistrates jailed her for 30 days in total as she has a record of similar offences.

Magistrates took her guilty pleas into account. They heard she previously failed to comply with drug rehabilitation.
