Three held after armed raid on Hampshire jeweller

Hampshire Police arrested three men today after an armed raid on a jewellery shop.

Police were called to Parchment Street, Winchester, shortly after 9am after reports of an armed robbery at Justice jewellers.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: ‘It is believed a quantity of jewellery has been stolen.

‘Officers remain at the scene of the jewellers and are working with the victims and witnesses.

‘No-one was injured during the incident.

‘Three men have been arrested and are currently in custody.’
