Warning after thefts from vehicles in Gosport

POLICE are warning people to ensure their cars are locked after a series of thefts.

Gosport Neighbourhood Watch is advising people in the Leesland ward to ensure their vehicles are secure.

It comes as police have received four reports in two days of unattended cars being entered, searched and property stolen.

The thefts occurred overnight on August 10 and 11.

Police are reminding people in the area to double check their cars are locked, remove all valuables, make sure all windows are closed, park in well-lit areas and use garages where available.
