Waterlooville police arrest suspect in connection with burglaries

The individual, who is being linked to burglaries in Purbrook and Widley, was stopped while driving in the latter area.

A police tweet said: ‘(The person was) driving a vehicle appearing similar to what was mentioned in a previous tweet.

‘The investigation is still ongoing, we will keep you updated.’
