Woman left in shock by pervert'sindecent act

The 25-year-old was approached when walking at Eastney beach near Frazer Range at 6pm on Thursday.

Police said the man approached her and asked her to take his photo.

She agreed but as she went to take the photograph he stripped off and performed an indecent act. The victim walked off toward Fort Cumberland Road very distressed. She was unhurt.

Sergeant Dean Juster said: ‘This is a rare occurrence in this area and has caused considerable distress to the victim.’

He said people nearby fishing may have seen the man.

The man was tanned, between 20 and 25, around 5ft 6in, slim but toned and had short, spiky black hair.

He was wearing aviator-style sunglasses, a black jacket and trousers. He was carrying a rucksack and a Samsung phone. Call police on 101.
