Cyclist suffers rib and shoulder injuries after collision with car in Havant

A cyclist was taken to hospital after a crash involving a car in Havant this morning.

Paramedics were called out to the Crookhorn roundabout, at the junction between Stakes Road and Purbrook Way, just after 10am this morning.

After receiving a number of calls a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance were called out.

A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman said there had been a collision between a cyclist and a car.

The man was treated at the scene for rib and shoulder injuries before being taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital.

The road was briefly closed by emergency services, causing some disruption to bus routes.Â
