Elderly man stuck in care home lift
AN ELDERLY man was rescued by firefighters after becoming stuck in a lift for 25 minutes.
He was trapped at Wykeham Court retirement living home in Wickham yesterday.
The lift was stuck between two floors and the male was released just after 12pm.
Fire crews from Southsea said they used a fireman’s key to carry out the rescue, in which the resident was ‘shaken up, but unharmed.’
